    This is an extraordinary place and just the quiet--self guided--alternative to a more structured retreat program. The optional daily prayer and silent meals, save for one day, provide the backdrop to what one fellow retreatant whispered to me on one of beautiful trails which circle the site, "with the help of the Spirit I'm undertaking an archeological dig on myself."
